On The Other Side of Being, Is a dance performance which challenges the way Tanzanian society portrays people with mental illness. The dance shows how it would be to be on the other side of your being, where you cannot be in control of your mind, your body and your thoughts. The piece also explores the differences between the condition of being in control of your body and thoughts and the condition of being out of this control.
